Pique is being developed as an online celebrity style sharing service that allows people to view celebrity outfits in high detail, rate them, share them, or buy them! Most style reporting offers the viewer a full body image of the outfit, Pique will give the user a more in depth experience by offering a "Style Viewer", a photo viewer equipped with tools to enhance the experience of examinging the finer details of an outfit. In addition to that, users can rate, collect, and share their favorite styles. Pique also partners with major fashion retailers to allow viewers of a specific style a chance to purchase that style (or a similar one).
Silly Parents is being developed as a graduate school project (not mine), and is meant to be a news aggregator that collects pertient facts, events, consumer goods, for parents in specific communities. At SillyParents.com, it's easy for parents to create a community site based on their zip code where local parents can exchange information quickly and easily. I produced a quick mockup of what SillyParents may look like. My inspiration was "Peanut butter and Jelly...with Stickers!", hence the color scheme and 2D sticker-like aesthetic.
mukari.com is my current project. It will be a social network geared towards helping people refer the people they trust to other people they trust, based on need. Ever need a mechanic, or a babysitter, or a co-founder for your web startup? Well, chances are a friend of a friend would be a perfect fit...you just need an introduction! When launched, we hopefully will be able to provide some proof to this concept. For now, enjoy the pretty pictures!
Along with mukari.com we're creating a .org variation which will host a real-time blog that will talk about mukari news, an inside look at our development techniques, and any other rant-able items we wish to share. The blog will be a test of Zach's web-sockets framework which will hopefully allow blog posts and comments to appear real time.
Long time web dev. partner Zach Smith wanted a design and overall identity to go with his side project; a real time collaborative to do list. I named it tudu and figured it should be very lightweight and simple. Color scheme? Mustard!
New musician "Rudie Kay" wanted a website done for his new album. He had some old time lapse footage he wanted to incorporate. So I embedded it in the background and built the site around it. On his site, you can hear samples of his music as well as purchase his album.
There are some other projects I've got laying around and ones still in production! I'll post them here shortly so you can sneak a peak...until then...stay tuned!
